Description
SR31527 is a novel allosteric driver like protein KIFC1 inhibitor, which can inhibit the activity of microtubule-stimulated KIFC1 ATPase with IC50 of 6.6 uM and directly binding to KIFC1 with Kd of 25.4 nM. It can prevent the bipolar aggregation of additional centrosomes in TNBC cells, and significantly reduce the colony formation and viability of TNBC cells (IC50=20-30μM in MDA-MB-231, BT549 and MDA-MB-435s cells), with little toxicity to normal fibroblasts.
