Cytarabine 5′-monophosphate is a metabolite of the nucleoside analog Cytarabine (HY-13605), catalyzed by deoxycytidine kinase. Cytarabine 5′-monophosphate is incorporated into DNA by DNA polymerase α, which reduces the rate of DNA synthesis.
